Some floor pieces sit quietly. This one lunges. The composition is built around a single forward gesture, and everything else in the frame is arranged to push that gesture toward whoever is standing at the door.

Design Story

A green-skinned witch in a buckled black hat bursts through a splintered attic frame, clawed hand thrown into the foreground so the fingers read as the closest plane. Behind her, a full moon and bats set the cool blue counterpoint to the warm amber of candlelight, aged parchment and weathered timber. A black cat springs from the lower left with claws out and eyes lit gold, balancing the skull, chest and candles on the right. The broken wooden beams radiate outward like a frame within a frame, and the woven, stitched-looking texture across the whole surface keeps the drama tactile rather than glossy.

Entryway & Styling

Read from above, the artwork fills the doormat edge to edge with almost no idle negative space. The witch's face and reaching hand sit high in the composition, so the focal point meets the eye first from standing height, while the patterned rug and scrolls anchor the lower band. The scalloped, irregular outline gives the mat a silhouette of its own against a plain threshold, and the dark border keeps the warm interior tones contained. It works as a full statement entry piece rather than a quiet accent.
