Most round rugs decorate a floor. This one opens a hole in it. The eye lands on the snarling beast before the room even registers, and that is the whole trick.

Design Story

The composition is built on a broken circle. A stone border ringed with skull compass stars and crouching gargoyles frames the scene, then the black-furred beast smashes straight through it, one clawed paw dropping over the edge into the viewer's space. Behind it, a burning ruin and a blood-lit eclipse push cold blue-violet against furnace orange, and that contrast is what makes the glowing eyes and open jaws hit so hard. Chains, bats and ember windows fill the outer ring without stealing the focal point. Controlled chaos, centered perfectly.

Room & Styling

As a floor piece, the round silhouette does the heavy lifting: the circular stone border reads as a real frame from standing height, while the central motif scales up into a full room anchor. Best given breathing room — open floor, low furniture at the edges — so the depth illusion stays intact and the surface coverage reads as one continuous scene rather than a pattern.
