Design Story

The hierarchy is unmistakable. A ridged orange gourd balloon anchors the middle, draped with cream swag and a woven basket, then the scale steps down through smaller balloons that fade toward the lower edge and read as distance. Teal sky supplies the cool ground the warm palette needs, while ivory cloudbanks and soft lilac ribbons spiral outward, carrying gold stars, a crescent moon and hanging lanterns into the border. The edge treatment closes the circle rather than cropping it, so the motif never feels cut off. Quilted, tonal shading gives the surface depth without noise.
