Some labels ask to be read. This one asks to be studied. A deep crimson dahlia sits dead centre on a black ground, framed in gilt filigree, with a crescent moon holding the top axis like a signature detail.

Design Story

The composition is strictly symmetrical and layered like couture trim. Ornamental scrollwork builds the border, oxblood blooms anchor the four corners, and a moth with a skull-marked thorax bridges the floral half and the type block below. Typography does the quiet work: "THE POISON GARDEN" in wide gold serif, a thin rule, then the note line reading BLACK DAHLIA, NIGHTSHADE, AMBER, VANILLA. Flanking cartouches read "RARE FLORA DEADLY BEAUTY" and "NATURE KEEPS ITS OWN SECRETS," with a small gold skull medallion closing the base. Black, gold and oxblood only - restrained palette, maximal detail.

Ambiance & Styling

On a candle jar, the wrap reads front-facing and complete: pale jar body as negative space, warm wood-toned lid capping the vertical, dark label carrying all the visual weight at eye level. It holds a mantel, a bookshelf or a dressed table without needing anything beside it, and photographs well as a gifting piece.
